Enjoy the natural beauty of Old Man’s Cave, Conkel’s Hollow, and Rock House!

Join IFI on a day-trip to the beautiful Hocking Hills park:  Located about 1.5 hours south-east of OSU’s campus. An IFI host/driver will pick you up at or near your home by 9:00 am and drive to Hocking Hills. Together, you will spend the day hiking, talking and enjoying each other's company. Then you can return whenever your group decides.

Things to remember:

Bring a bag lunch and drinking water.

Wear comfortable shoes for walking, and dress in layers, because it will be cold in the morning and warmer in the afternoon.

Bring your camera/phone to capture these fun moments!

Bring money for dinner if your group decides to stop on the way home.

TENATIVE Schedule

9:00 am–10:00 am: Pickup and depart Columbus

10:30 am–11:30 am: Arrive and hike at Hocking Hills - Hike 1

12:30 pm: Eat LUNCH (Bring a packed lunch and drink for yourself)

1:30–3:30 pm: Hike 2

3:30–4:30 pm: Hike 3

6:30: Leave Hocking Hills region, drive back to Columbus (Plan to leave well before dark)

6:30–7:30 pm: Arrive Columbus (return home no later than 7:30pm)

Student Pickup Provided at 9:00am

IFI volunteers are providing free rides to Hocking Hills State Park and hosting students for the day. Pickups will be held at two locations:
